Title of Position: Nursing Faculty

Bargaining Unit/Salary Range: MEA Faculty Unit; $48,846.97 - $58,325.83 Dependent upon Qualifications & Experience.

Responsibilities: Eastern Maine Community College is looking to fill two full-time Nursing Faculty positions to begin for Fall 2023. Evening classes / clinical hours required, along with summer class requirements. The chosen candidate will teach both on campus and in clinical settings. Other duties may include lead / course coordination, advising students, participation in departmental and college committees, developing and revising curriculum and participation in accreditation and other related activities.

Minimum Qualifications: MS in Nursing required (will accept applicants with a BSN who are currently enrolled in an MSN program). Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Maine and have a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in nursing. Ideal candidate will have recent clinical experience, including SIM experience (preferred). Demonstrated teaching ability. Desire and ability to motivate students. Willingness and ability to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practice. 3-5 years nursing experience in med/surg area and CPR certification required.
